STACKBRYDGEPRIVACY POLICY
Your data stays yours.
Plain words on what we collect, why we need it, and what you control. Last updated October 2026.
What we collect
Your account details (name, email, password hash), the profile you build during onboarding (product, stack, skills, experience), needs you share, applications and matches, sessions and milestones, and feedback you give or receive. We do not collect payment details on this website.
How we use it
To run the service: matching needs with techies, operating engagements, sending account emails (verification, password resets) and, only with your permission, product news. We never sell your information.
Authentication and storage
Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth); passwords are stored as hashes, never in readable form. Workspace data lives in a secured database with access rules that only let signed-in users see what they are part of.
Ratings and visibility
Feedback you submit on an engagement is shown to the other party and factored into matching. Only aggregated scores appear on public-facing match cards, never private messages. Demo content on this site is illustrative until replaced by real activity.
Your control
You can update your profile in Settings, opt out of product news at any time, and ask for your account and data to be deleted by contacting us through the website.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will note it here with a new revision date. Continued use of StackBrydge after a change means you accept it.
