Fair rules for both sides of the bridge.

What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. Last updated October 2026.

The service

StackBrydge connects bootstrapping startups with junior techies ready to do hands-on work, scores the fit, and hosts the working relationship: needs, matches, engagements, sessions, milestones and two-way ratings. We provide the bridge; the work itself happens between you and the other party.

Accounts

You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live. One account per person. Keep your password private and tell us if your account is misused. We may suspend accounts used abusively.

Honest profiles, honest feedback

Describe your product, stack, skills and experience truthfully. Rate work fairly and only work you were part of. Fake profiles, review gaming and harassment get accounts removed.

Matching is guidance, not a guarantee

Fit scores and bands reflect overlapping experience, availability and past ratings. They are a starting point for your own judgment, not a promise of any outcome, timeline or result.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post: needs, profiles, session notes, reviews. You grant StackBrydge the right to store and display it as needed to run the service, including showing ratings and match context to the other side of an engagement.

Acceptable use

No spam, scraping, reverse-engineering the matching to game it, or using the platform for anything unlawful. Demo and placeholder content on the site carries no warranty.

Liability

StackBrydge is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from engagements arranged here, including project delays, costs or disputes between users.
